A day at the Zoo
This past Saturday we went to the zoo! We meet my parents, my best friend Julie and her family, and Julie's parents there and had a great day!
We started out in Africa and say lots of giraffes, zebra, elephants, ostrich, rhinos, baboons, gorillas, and lions! Most of the animals were out were they could easily be seen.
After walking all over Africa, we stopped for a picnic lunch and then headed to North America for the afternoon. In North America we saw alligators, cougars, polar bears, sea lions, puffins, lots of birds, and a few snakes (which I stayed away from)!

My mom bought the boys these really cute lion and tiger sunglasses for our zoo trip!
Brayden and Wesley playing. Brayden would give the bag of snacks to Wesley and then take the bag away from Wesley! Wesley thought this was super funny!Brayden, Grammy, and Paw looking at the frogsWesley enjoying the cool air inside the reptile areaMemorial Day Weekend at the Beach
Last weekend we went to Sunset Beach for our annual Memorial Day weekend trip. Since Matt's grandparents, aunt, and uncle all live down there, we always have a place to stay & plenty of people to hang out with! Matt parents, Uncle John, and Aunt Dana also to the beach went for the long weekend!
We went to the beach on Saturday and Sunday. It was beautiful weather but the water was still a bit chilly for swimming. Brayden was not too fond of the water this year...hopefully this is just because it was still chilly.
On Saturday night, we decided to go play putt-putt. Brayden went along and although he didn't really play, he got in on the putt-putt action towards the end of the night.

NCSU Baseball Game
A few weeks ago we went to an NCSU baseball game with the family to celebrate Uncle John's birthday! State was playing Duke and luckily State is pretty good at baseball...we won the game 8-1!!
Brayden had a great time watching the game and even meeting Ms Wuf! He has figured out how to "play" baseball and how to call a runner safe!
