22 Weeks

It has been a crazy few weeks for us!  Matt turned 30th on June 21 & I threw him a big surprise party!  Then we had our 22 week Drs appointment & ultrasound on Monday.  Now I am helping with VBS & we are leaving for the BEACH tomorrow morning!!!

21 Weeks 2 days


I can't wait to have a few days away & to hang out with the family!  Brayden has grown quite a bit since our last appointment 1 month ago & is right on track for growth.  His heartrate was between 140-150 bpm & he was moving around a lot.  Brayden didn't cooperate much for the ultrasound, so we didn't get a lot of good pictures this time.  He kept insisting on putting his hands in front of his face or "running" from the wand.  Brayden has become very active & he is constintly moving around.  In fact, he wakes me up some nights & then I can't go back to sleep for all his kicking, punching, & squirming.  I can't complain though.  At least I know he is OK in there as long as he is moving around.

Such a Smart Boy!

I just thought I would share with everyone how incredibly smart Brayden is.  I felt him move for the first time on Mother's Day (15 weeks 6 days).  Matt felt Brayden move for the first time last night on Father's day (20 weeks 6 days)!  Brayden gave Matt's hand a definitive soccer kick last night while we were watching TV.  How cool is that!

18 Weeks 1 day

It's a....

It's a BOY!!!! His name will be: Brayden Augustus Enzor and he will go by Brayden.







Brayden was VERY active today during the ultrasound & the technician had a hard time seeing everything that she was supposed to check because he was so active. Everything looked good...spine, heart, bladder, kidneys, bones, etc. Right now Brayden is breech (head up on my right side) but that is not unusual at this stage. He has plenty of time to flip around.

All of the measurements were exactly where they were supposed to be & the heart rate was good (146 beats per minute). I am now 18 weeks 2 days & all of the measurements were exactly 18 weeks 2 days.

17 Weeks 1 Day



We go back for another Dr. appt & ultrasound on June 23 (I will get ultrasounds once a month from now on to check for growth) so I will post more pictures then. I will be 22 weeks by this appointment.

16 weeks

Not much new going on for us right now.  I am getting bigger & am hungry pretty much all the time.  

I felt the baby move for the first time on Mother's Day night!!  What a wonderful Mother's Day gift!  I have felt the baby move several other times since then too.

We are going to a friend's house tomorrow night to get a crib, highchair, bassinet, and several other big items.  I am excited to start getting things ready.  

16 Weeks 1 Day

We go back to the Dr. 2 weeks from today for the BIG ultrasound.  If the baby cooperates, we should find out the sex at the visit.  The Dr. will also start the monthly routine monitoring for growth, development, etc.  Please pray that everything goes well.

Week 14

Matt & I went to the Dr. today for our 14 week visit.   

I had gained almost 2 pounds in the past month!!  This is exciting news for me, since I never gained any weight with Taylor.  Also on a positive note, the Dr. was able to measure my belly for the first time.  My belly never got big enough with Taylor for them to measure it.  The heartbeat was good today (in the 150s) and the belly measurement was "normal" according to the Dr.  

We go back to the Dr. on May 28 for our 18 Week appointment.  They will start doing ultrasounds at least once a month at this visit.  This is also the visit that we should (as long as the baby cooperates) be able to find out the sex.  The 18 week ultrasound is when they do all of the big measurements and anatomy checks as well.  This should be an exciting visit!!  I don't think I can wait a whole month more, but guess I have to!  

My twice daily shots are going well.  I have not had anymore rash outbreaks and have now been doing the shots for 3 weeks solid.  My belly is rather bruised and ugly to look out (see photo), but it is totally worth the slight discomfort.  I am just so grateful that the rash has not returned and that I have good Drs that know what they are doing.
